Distinctive circular spectacles handcrafted from plant-based acetate and 100% beta titanium, reimagined in a special ‘70s-inspired camo colour story with Armorlite lenses in Light Green, and our signature arrowhead front pins and finely engraved temples in matte silver palladium.
The fluid lines and fine embellishments of Art Deco find their full realisation in these ‘50s-inspired spectacles made for the modern city, a bold acetate frame with a distinct titanium brow bar, here reimagined in Sergeant—an alluring abstract of richly muted greens, browns, and greys inspired by the subversive Pop expressions of Andy Warhol’s Camouflage series. Contrasting the individuality of portraiture with the uniformity of camouflage, Warhol was intrigued by the ambiguity of Disruptive Pattern Materials (DPM), their ability to either conceal or call attention to the wearer, to disguise or create a spectacle.
